Welcome to our shared blog, Mr Zierdt!

Coming from New Zealand, I couldn’t help noticing that you cite the Lord of the Rings as one of your favourite films. It’s interesting, I loved the books as a child, but I find the films odd. I never imagined Middle Earth to be in the Southern Hemisphere – it’s interesting how they’ve artificially added a whole lot of haze that we just don’t have to make it seem more ‘realistic’!

I’m really looking forward to engaging with you and your students this year. Who knows where it might take us.

    Good to ‘meet’ you,

    Chris Waugh
